Monthly Medical Mission for Women with HIV/AIDS
Tirzah Myanmar

Myanmar medical clinic square.jpg

Meit’s husband died in 2004. She lives with her 9-year-old daughter and both are HIV-positive. Meit* became ill in 2009, but the medicines are helping her get stronger. Her daughter is a student. Meit has a shop in her house to sell small things to earn money. She gets care each month at Tirzah Myanmar’s monthly medical outreach. In this program, women are able to see a doctor to address their health concerns. They are also able to gather with other women who are facing similar struggles and share information as well as spiritual and emotional support.

Meit requests prayer for her and her daughter’s health.

* Not her real name.
