Monthly Medical Mission for Women with HIV/AIDS
Tirzah Myanmar

Myanmar medical clinic square.jpg

Mayi* is a widow with two children, ages 18 and 13. She is HIV-positive and has been on medication for three years. The medicines have caused cataracts in her right eye. When she first became ill, she was too weak to eat, but now she is stronger. She lives with her parents and children. She attends Tirzah Myanmar’s monthly medical outreach. In this program, women are able to see a doctor to address their health concerns. They are also able to gather with other women who are facing similar struggles and share information as well as spiritual and emotional support.

Mayi requests prayer for her eyesight and for her children.

* Not her real name.
