There is a central truth in today's world:
women are not the problem, but the solution.
Our network of over 150,000 women, formerly known as Women of Global Action, continues to address key issues affecting women and children: poverty, modern day slavery, HIV/AIDS, lack of access to education for girls and violence against women and girls. Some have said that the paramount moral challenge of this century will be the struggle for gender equality in the developing world. Mounting evidence indicates that the best way to improve the lives of families and nations, alleviate poverty and change the world we live in is through empowering women and girls.
