How Can You Teach the Next Generation About Women and Girls Around the World?
It's crucial to train the next generation, boys and girls, about the value of women and the injustices many women and girls face (in a kid friendly way, of course). Kids understand fairness and Tirzah loves to let kids know they have the power to help make the world more fair for women and girls. See how some kids have gotten involved!
Six-year-old Chelsea's Pioneer Club raised funds to buy sewing machines for women in Burundi!
Can children make a difference in the world? The children at Valencia United Methodist think so! They created a quilt for the women in Tirzah’s sewing program in Burundi. Each patch holds a special message of loving encouragement.
The Little Voyager class (first and second graders) of the Pioneer Clubs at Valencia United Methodist Church raised $258 for Tirzah! They did it by bringing in water bottles filled with dimes. And thanks to VUMC for matching these funds!
