How Can You Use Your Creative Skills with Women in Our Projects on a Tirzah Trip?
God has given each person their own unique combination of talents and passions. It is such a joy to see the creative ways God uses individuals to interact with the women and girls in our projects on a Tirzah trip!
Annie Gaunder, who owns a quilting studio in Apple Valley, California and co-leads Tirzah's Apple Valley Chapter, traveled to Burundi in the summer of 2014 and taught the women at the sewing center new techniques for assembling quilts which made the quilts sturdier and enabled the ladies to earn more for them.
Carol Leiby, co-leader of Tirzah Apple Valley, shared her crocheting skills with the women at the sewing center in Burundi.
